Pythagorean Tangram - SmartBoard Puzzle (Proof by Dissection)
Have your students verify the Pythagorean Theorem visually by solving a surprisingly challenging 5-piece puzzle!
By showing that the piece can be used to fill in the large square, or be used to fill the two small squares, students verify that the areas are equal.

At the end of a intense circle unit in my geometry class I like to have a review session that is both fun and challenging for my students. They work in groups and compete in the Smart Board "Circle Jeopardy Review Game". The game covers all the major circle theorems and postulates as well as writing equations of circles.

Geometry Proof Puzzles
There are 13 proofs that are put in a puzzle format. Each proof contains the diagram, the given and what is to be proven. Also, a two-column style answer space. These are all fixed objects on the page and cannot be moved. All the statements and reasons for each particular proof are movable and can be put into the appropriate column and number. It is a nice interactive lesson where the students can get out of their chairs and use the Smart Board and drag the answers where they think they belong.

Surface Area of Cylinder
