Fun holiday activity. Can be adapted to use anytime of the year. Students find "Easter Eggs" hidden throughout the classroom. Each egg has a problem they must solve. Once all sixteen eggs are found and problems are solved the students are rewarded with a prize.

You can then look at the verbs which require the subjunctive, plus the exceptions to the rule. There is then a series of sentences to explain the sequence of tenses used with this structure.
