Rich in Common Core higher order thinking, this activity has students matching primary document excerpts of democracy's principles from the Magna Carta, English Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, U.S. Bill of Rights and French Declaration of the Rights of Man to modern day interpretations while justifying their match.
