Spanish Engineering Design Process Poster
My school has been focusing a lot on STEM and engineering design challenges and I wanted to have something to show the steps of the engineering process like I have for the scientific method. I couldn't find anything out there in Spanish for immersion teachers so I modified this one to fit my needs based on the Works hands-on museum in Minnesota where we have many field trips. You have to print out the pages separately in Publisher and then assemble, but once it's glued together and laminated it
Class Reward Poster
Decorating a classroom can take much time and can be tedious. This system has worked wonders in more of a group-based positive reinforcement. If student meet the criteria, they are given a check. I created Kinder-Metas in my classroom as a way to help my students see and manage their personal goals. Although it has changed from when I first implemented in my classroom, it has definitely been a great addition in my classroom.
I display the Goal Cards in my classroom, and as I assess the students throughout the school year they students color in their stars based on the goals they have reached. At the end of the school year students take their goal cards home with their goals reached.

"Ser" conjugation visual clues
"Ser" (to be), one of the first verb students should learn to conjugate, is unfortunately one of the hardest to learn. With this poster each conjugation has a visual and sound-alike clue (a la Quantum Learning). These clues help students to initially learn the conjugation, and remember it if the information starts to fade later.

Prefix Posters
These are some of the most common prefixes used. I created a poster for each with the prefix, meaning and example. I printed mine using my classroom colors and then backed them on card stock. Since I am using these for hanging in my classroom, I also laminated them. I find that it is another resource for my struggling readers to use when searching for the meaning of unfamiliar words.
