Greek Myth Comic Books
This unit introduces students to both Greek culture and Greek Mythology, specifically focusing on the 12 Labors of Hercules and The Abduction of Persephone as examples.
Students first are introduced to the vocabulary and placed into groups to use the internet to research the primary deities of Greek myths.
After reading the myths and gaining an understanding of Greek culture and the stories, students then create graphic novels depicting the adventures of Hercules.
