Morning Meeting Resources and Ideas
Morning meetings generally last fifteen to thirty minutes and offer an opportunity for children to practice social-emotional and academic skills. The structure usually has four components: greetings, sharing, group activity (games) and a morning message. Share Time Questions
This SMART Notebook can be used for Share Time (or Show and Tell) in the elementary school classroom. Each slide contains a question to be asked to the sharer about their share. From these answers, the class will be allowed to make three guesses, then ask the student questions about their share item. A Smart board activity that is sweet! As you can see there is a giant Bubble gum machine filled with bubble gum. The students can take turns looking for the color name and coloring the bubble gum ball. Then the student is given the opportunity to sort out how many of what color was in the machine. an additional activity is offered.
