This is a great tool to use when trying to organize and send home all classwork/homework. I collect all homework each day. It got to be too much trying to correct it and then send home the same day. On Fridays students pass out all the homework from the week and classwork. Students bring folders home on Friday and return them back on Monday without any papers, only tests. I keep the tests and put them into portfolios for conferences or any other academic concerns I may have. There is a behavio

With so much emphasis being placed on discussions from one student to another with the Danielson Framework, I created a school wide product that teaches students how to have polite conversations when working together. This product contains three levels of discussion prompts for students to use in their daily work. My school uses them in the K-2 setting, 3-5 setting, and the 6-8 setting. Classroom Rules Hand in Hand

We use this in our classroom to memorize as a chant. Make a copy and laminate for each student to put in their BEE folders. These folders are parent communication folders that keep students organized throughout the year. What a great place for them to keep the rules of the classroom handy. Look for future postings of the BEE folders and how to get your year off to an organized start!

This is a simple table for your students to fill in while doing a sink/float experiment. My class absolutely loved doing it. The students each chose an object from the classroom that they wanted to drop in the bucket of water. They them moved around the class and wrote down all the objects of theri classmates too. Next they predicted whether they thought the objects would sink or float, before one by one they dropped the objects in and recorded the results.
