Pass the Pumpkin Song/Game with Orff Arrangement for Smart Boards
A student favorite for Halloween and the month of October! Using the traditional folk song and game, I created an Orff arrangement for when students get "out" of the game. The arrangement is geared toward upper elementary students but has notes about how to simplify for younger grades. Learn about the parts of the guitar, types of guitars, listen to sound clips of other interesting string instruments, learn to read guitar melodies with tablature (link included) and basic guitar chords. Music Elements Song for the Elementary Music Classroom SMART notebook version
This is a song I created to help my students remember the 4 main elements of music, including tempo, melody, rhythm and dynamics. It is based on a simple melody using so, mi re and do. I use it as a vocal warm-up.
I have produced it in a SMART notebook, There is also another listing in my store that is a PDF file. The page includes the words to the songs, the solfege syllables of the melody and pictures to refer to the meaning of each word as a visual.
