There is a menu of choices where students are guided to an activity based on how they prefer to think/learn. This assesses 7.EE.A.1 7.EE.A.2 and 7.EE.B.3 for Common Core. 6.EE can also be used if you tweak the rubric a bit. Also incorporates Mathematical Practice Attend to Precision. Allowing choice really creates buy-in from students and gets them excited to show what they know.Grading

Numerical Patterns Memory Match Game Creation Project

Your purchase comes with a packet that guides scholars in making their own memory match game based off of numerical patterns and rules/algebraic equations (like my game here). We wrote the algebraic equations where the input is x, and the output is y, but you can also write the pattern as a sentence. Scholars will make 20 input/output tables, based off of 20 rules/algebraic equations that they create themselves. Scholars will then trade packets with other groups to use substitution to check all
