Using Math with Quilt (measurement included)
This is a unit project that uses skills in measurement, addition, subtraction, skip counting, and rectangular arrays. Students will work on their own personal quilt square. (You can give them any square piece of paper you like.) They will use measurement, addition, and subtraction skills first. They will also work with groups during this activity. Other skills included are skip-counting by 2, 5, and 10, and rectangular arrays.
