This inquiry unit was created for my own fourth grade students while we read Gary Paulsen's book "Dogsong." It contains tools that my students used to guide their learning through their curiosity and wonderings.

This story has been used on the TN Core website within the 2-3 grade span Oceans and Continents Unit. I by no means wrote any of this informational text, but simply formatted. It is used with the Water, Water, Everywhere: Facts About the Ocean Story. This is a great introduction to oceans and continents unit.
