This is also a good opportunity to have students practice vocabulary and using complete sentences. Students can state, "I am here today" or the teacher can ask a question of the day and as the students move their owl, they must also answer the question.

Back to School "Schoolhouse" SMART Board Attendance Activity w/ SOUND
Ring in the day with this fun and engaging Schoolhouse Attendance Activity! Students "ring their bell" by clicking on it. It will making a realistic ringing sound and then disappear to indicate the student is present for the day. Any remaining school bells indicate students who are absent.

Use this interactive SMART Notebook file to work on basic math processes with your students. Students solve the problems you give using their pumpkin seeds on their place-mats. Then come to the SMART Board and using the infinitely cloned pumpkin seed, he/she can show how to solve the problem.

Attendance and Lunch Count Smartboard
This is a simple way to have the students be responsible for what they're buying for lunch and to copy in their agenda books what the homework is for the night. I have 4 different ones for the seasons. If you don't have an actual smartboard, the students can use a mouse instead. It is a great way to get those morning tasks done simply and quickly.

Morning Attendance
I use this SmartBoard every morning. I have it pulled up so when students arrive they can drag their name to home lunch or school lunch. This helps the teacher know who is at school and how many lunches to put in for the day. Since I am in kindergarten the students use this for their morning routines. Very user friendly. After I put their names in the document I right click and "lock allow to move" which helps when the students try to double click.
