TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for 20 years mostly as a fourth and fifth grade teacher to newcomer students. I taught a Chinese bilingual kindergarten class for two years. Now I am teaching a fourth grade Chinese bilingual class. I love teaching, especially getting students to smile when they suddenly can read a book in Chinese.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I write stories in English and Chinese. I write and illustrate each little Chinese reader so that my students get more exposure to the Chinese characters learned in class and my newcomer students can access the math and science curriculum in Chinese. I also have published Chinese stories on ichinesereader.com.
