TEACHING EXPERIENCE

We have owned and run a language school in Santiago, Chile since 2002. We have taught Spanish to foreigners of all ages (including to many different embassies) and also English (ESOL) to local residents (including some famous people). ------ We spend a lot of time creating material for people to learn languages for free online where we have a large following (millions of visitors each month). Our passion is to help those who may not always have the means to take an English or other language course in their home country. We also love knowing how our resources are used by teachers in most countries around the world. We are currently creating free online courses for people interested in learning English (ESOL), Spanish, French, Italian, and Maori.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Woodward Spanish and Woodward English are the two biggest sections of our company (Woodward Education) which was founded in Chile in 2002. It is run by Rob W, a New Zealander that lived in Chile from 1997-2018, and wife Angélica P, a Chilean who has been putting up with Rob since 1997. :) We are currently living in New Zealand so that our boys can experience the NZ education system. In 2016 we started Woodward Italian and Woodward French. In 2019 we started Woodward Languages covering other languages including Maori and Arabic.
