I've enjoyed serving students for over 16 years as a behavior specialist, behavior management teacher, resource, and now extended resource teacher. I've received training in PECS (Picture Exchange Communication), TEACCH (Treatment and Education of Autistic and Communication Related Handicapped Children), and ABA principles and practices.
I align my behavior management practices in ABA principles, however, my teaching methods vary to meet the needs of my students. I use structured teaching practices in my classroom from physical organization, individualized schedules, work systems, and visual structure of materials and instruction.

I am the proud mom of an incredible preteen! When I'm not teaching or creating TPT products, I'm teaching spin at my local gym, hiking, hanging with friends and family, and living life to its fullest!
