TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching for 14 years. I taught 3rd grade for two years and 2nd grade for five years. I took some time to watch my triplet daughters learn and grow and returned to a kindergarten classroom. I taught kindergarten for two years and then moved to first grade where I am happily settled in. My triplet daughters will be in first grade in September. They help me test all my products! I love what I do!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I truly believe in a multisensory approach to learning. A child needs to use their entire body to learn and process new information. I am big believer in putting words into songs and getting up and moving!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I am rewarded each and everyday! I am a mom, a wife, and a teacher. I am honored to be able to do what I do each and every day!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I earned my bachelors degree in Literature and Rhetoric from Binghamton University and my Master's Degree in Education from Queen's College.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I love creating material for my students. They are my muse. I test ideas with them first. They are my best critics! My students inspire me each and every day!
