TEACHING EXPERIENCE

As a North Carolina teacher for more than 20 years, I taught kindergarten, first, second, and fourth grades, and I am now the librarian/media specialist at my elementary school. It is truly my dream job! I love connecting readers with books that motivate them to keep on reading!

MY TEACHING STYLE

As both a classroom teacher and a school librarian, I love to integrate technology into everything I do. I am passionate about STEM education, and have been amazed by how motivated my students have become by my newly implemented Makerspace. However, I also love helping readers discover "just right" books to fall in love with!
