TEACHING EXPERIENCE

After graduating college with a degree in Early Childhood I became a 3rd grade teacher in the state of Ohio. I have attending many seminars and conferences to further my education in teaching. In the upcoming year I will be working on attaining my Masters degree in the area of Reading Instruction.

MY TEACHING STYLE

When teaching, I teach through hands-on learning. I like to use real life experiences to teach children the strategies needed to succeed. I do this through classroom transformations, real life reading skill lessons, and through engaging novel studies. I tend to teach in a small group setting for both reading and math. When teaching content areas I try to make the lessons as hands-on and engaging as possible.
