By The Creative Chimp I have taught for 28 years in Public and Charter School Settings with Regular and ESE students. I have taught in three different states and on an Reservation for the Lumbee Tribe in North Carolina.
I like to have my students approach learning through Project-Based learning and Hands-On experiences.
Teacher of the Year for two different schools in two different states. I have wrote and taught a Science Curriculum for a Pilot Program in Georgia Schools.
I hold a BA in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, A Masters in Reading. I am National Board certified in Early Childhood. As well as being endorsed in Reading and ESOL. I am also certified K-12 ESE
I am passionate about what I do everyday in my classroom and the lives I touch as an educator. I am also very passionate about being a Mom to an amazing daughter, our four K-9 children, and being involved in my church.
