TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have worked in a variety of grade levels and have taught a range of different subjects through my job as a special education teacher. I am currently teaching students with autism in grades K-2.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach students with differing abilities and learning styles, so my teaching style tends to change depending on each student's individual needs. In my autism classroom, I have my students complete several different tasks in each structured area of the classroom. They are require some level of support, but our classroom goal is to foster independence. We cover a wide range of skills in one day, and I love seeing my students grow!
