TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have experience teaching students pre-K through 6 with varying disabilities, including autism, emotional/behavioral disabilities, and developmental delays. I currently teach primary special education, and that's definitely my niche! My background is in social work, but teaching is where my heart is. There's no where else I'd rather be!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love finding creative ways to tap into students' diverse learning modalities. As a special education teacher, I adapt most materials to include a visual or tactile element. While these are often crucial modifications for students with disabilities, I believe that all students can benefit from learning in multiple modalities. When creating my products, I always try to include clear visuals and incorporate a hands-on element.
