TEACHING EXPERIENCE

7 years of teaching Science and Reading Intervention (7th grade) and adjunct professor in a Reading and Literacy Graduate program.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I live by "everything in moderation" in my classroom. Changing things up daily keeps middle schoolers interested! Some days are for loud group activities and other days are for quiet seat work while listening to music. I attempt to hit on every learning style throughout the duration of every unit. I starting using interactive notebooks 4 years ago and I love it more and more every year as I discover new ways to use them in class - the kids love them too :)
