TEACHING EXPERIENCE

After teaching a myriad of ages abroad in Spain and Mexico I moved to North Carolina where I've taught 4th grade for the last 7 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Smile. Not everyday goes as planned, but everyday can be filled with laughter and learning. It's all how you roll with it. Teaching is all about creating engaging activities that help scaffold student learning where they're at while giving them enough freedom to take charge as learners. Grateful for the opportunity to change lives and to embrace all the little hearts that walk through my classroom door.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I went to college for education and Spanish. Recently I've added my TEFL certification because I've found teaching English to be so rewarding!
