By Science Demo Guy STEM I've spent the last 10 years teaching high school science (physical science, chemistry, and physics) and math (all levels). Prior to this, I worked at a summer camp with middle school students. I led weekly wilderness trips.
I love doing projects, demonstrations, and labs. Engaging the students in the learning process makes education exciting.
I've won numerous "excellence in education" awards in my county. There are very few of these given out, and they are based on nominations for "most influential teachers."
