TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've spent the last 10 years teaching high school science (physical science, chemistry, and physics) and math (all levels). Prior to this, I worked at a summer camp with middle school students. I led weekly wilderness trips.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love doing projects, demonstrations, and labs. Engaging the students in the learning process makes education exciting.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I've won numerous "excellence in education" awards in my county. There are very few of these given out, and they are based on nominations for "most influential teachers."

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Civil Engineering degree (BS) Teaching Certificate (major: science, minor: mathematics) Educational Leadership (MA)

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I spend my free time with my awesome wife and 3 amazing children. We like to go camping, hiking, and fishing!
