I have been a teacher to Pre-K - 4th grade students. In addition to being in a regular education classroom setting, I have also had a chance to teach elementary gifted students in a pull-out program. All of my students have taught me just as much as I have hopefully taught them!
I like to explore, make, create, experiment, and question with my students. I believe students learn best when they are given trust and responsibilities, and get a chance to have authentic learning experiences.

I love to hike with my husband, be outdoors, play with my two sons, two dogs, garden, and find ways to live more naturally. I love waking up early, coffee, good bargains, and family game nights.
