TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a fourth-year high school English teacher. I have taught 9th, 10th, and 11th grade regular and honors English courses. I have also taught support classes for English Learner students and created the content and lessons over the last three years for my school’s weekly homeroom program. Teaching at a newer high school has helped me grow in so many ways to do the many different roles I have taken on. I am new to selling on Teachers Pay Teachers but am eager to share what has worked in my classroom over these last few years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a passion for creating engaging content that high school students can connect with. I have learned from my students that they are juggling so much academically and more importantly, emotionally. I strive to create content that supports their social and emotional needs and that teaches empath. Not only do I have my students in mind when creating classroom content, but I have a big heart for all teachers of all experience levels! If I can share content that SAVES YOU TIME, is step-by-step and easy for ANY teacher to implement into the classroom (regardless of technology skills levels) then I will feel successful in my journey as a TPT contributor.
