By Nikki and Nacho Nikki has taught K-12 English Learners both in the U.S. and internationally for over 10 years and loves it! She has also been a leader in curriculum design and professional development for teachers in large urban school districts. Nacho, a graphic designer and experienced translator teams with Nicole to create quality graphics and translations of their resources for Spanish-speakers and bilingual programs.
Our style is laser-focused, differentiated instruction with an emphasis on interactive learning and academic language production. Our theory is that those who do the talking, do the learning, therefore it should be the voices of our students that we hear most often.
Nikki recently co-authored and published a book for teachers available on Amazon titled "Intentional Interaction: Research-Based Model for Content and Language Learning."
Nikki has a bachelors degree in Teaching K-12 English Learners, and a Masters in Education with a focus on "Differentiated Instruction." She has also participated in extensive training in "Responsive Classroom" and "Understanding by Design."
Nikki and Nacho are currently residing in Yucatan, Mexico.
