I believe three aspects of my life has given me the drive I need to dream, develop and deliver. My family, my education and my experiences from past jobs (career/non-career oriented). Working at the family plant nursery and landscape business (Twin Oaks Nursery) I felt created a work ethic that current generations do not usually get to experience.

I understand the rewards of hard work. Working for private and public school sectors has given me the chance to observe and educate a diverse group of students. Experiences like those along with the other aspects of my life is where my intrinsic motivation stems. I am truly grateful for all of my opportunities and I hope what I create gives another child an opportunity that they once thought was unattainable.

My love for school has opened doors and opportunities that I never expected. I have a bachelor in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Southern Illinois University.
