TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have served as a bilingual elementary school counselor in Nashville, TN for the past eight years! 80% of my students speak a language other than English at home and 97% of them are living in poverty. My students are the SWEETEST, kindest, most giving children I have ever met and remind me every single day why school counseling matters.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that every child can learn and it is the school counselor’s role to provide the support, love, and advocacy that students need to reach their highest potential. By teaching our students coping strategies and putting preventative and responsive measures in place, the sky is the limit for our kiddos! All of my products are used with my students first to be sure they are accessible to all learners, effective, and meaningful!
