TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a middle school science teacher (11 years of experience) with a passion for helping students comprehend the world around them, making connections with everyday life, and (most importantly) asking questions. My goal is to design resources that help students do these three things. As a former engineer, I also try to incorporate design and communication skills in my products.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Fun, Engaging, and Inquiry-Based

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

My favorite moment in a class is when students debate an answer by citing facts and then having a class discussion.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

B.S. in Chemical Engineering M.S. in Environmental Engineering M.A. in Teaching

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I enjoy exercise, sports, reading, and making STEM curriculum.
