TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught for 20 years in the classroom. I am currently a reading coach. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade. I have my ESL certification and am GT certified.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach minilessons in whole group and have students discuss their learning with each other. I use small group to do the more intense teaching while the other students are at workstations.

I have had the honor of being a mentor teacher for 4 colleges students (now graduated and teaching).

I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Certification and Masters in Early Childhood Education.
