Little Learners and Literacy - Nicole Mangine

I am currently an 8th year public school teacher. I taught Kindergarten for 6 years and am now a certified Reading Specialist. I was trained in Orton Gillingham (IMSE) in 2016 and received my masters as a Reading Specialist in 2018. I am a structured literacy enthusiast especially for intervention groups. I no longer have my own classroom, and strictly help grades K-2 with intervention every day in a small group setting. I also privately tutor for reading intervention as well.

I understand the importance of continual education for myself to ensure my students are receiving the best instruction based on science and how the brain processes learning to read. Giving them a foundation of reading skills is imperative to a lifelong love for reading.
