MA in Curriculum and Instruction, 26 years combined experience in San Dieguito Union High School District, 1 year teaching ESL in Valencia,Venezuela

MY TEACHING STYLE

Dynamic teaching that encourages cooperative learning coupled with accountablity.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Mr. P was awarded Superhero Teacher in a nationwide competition due to student nominations. Marvel comic books made a comic that Mr. P was featured in! In 2013, Mr. P was fortunate enough to be elected Teacher of the Year by my colleague and also received the student nominated Crystal Apple award. Mrs. P has also received Teacher of the Year in 2001 and the Crystal Apple Award in 2008.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Mr. P has a BA from CU Boulder, Teaching Credential from Chapman University, MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University Mrs. P has a BS from CSU, Chico, Teaching Credential and MA in Education from National University.
