By Hedgehog Reader Most of my nearly 30 years in education have been spent teaching students in grades 3, 4, and 5. I was an Instructional Coach for several years, but my heart always brings me back into the classroom. I recently retired from teaching Gifted self-contained 5th grade in sunny Arizona.
I plan lessons and activities that make learning accessible and meaningful. I believe in building and nurturing relationships and community while honoring the many different ways in which children learn.
