TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I love teaching and have a passion for what I do! I have taught in several different situations. I taught Agriculture, Science, and cooking at a summer camp for four years. and now I teach 8-12 high school and dual credit agriculture in a small town in Missouri.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Hands on learning is the way to go! Projects and activities that allow students to move and create their own thoughts and ideas are the best way to teach them the material!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I think the most important award or honor that you need to know about is my passion- I have a passion for teachers and meeting their needs with quality curriculum, activities, and ideas that can easily be implemented into their own classrooms!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a passion for agriculture education and a weakness for telling my husband and kids yes to most of the things they ask. I am excited to share our journey with you through my classroom, fun activities with our kids, and the different seasons on our farm!  I graduated from Missouri State University with my Teaching Certification and my Masters. Going to work everyday is a joy when you love what you do! My goal is to make life easier for you as the teacher with activities, projects, and lessons where the students do not even realize they are learning!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Hi everyone!  Welcome to my story-     I am so excited for you to tag along for the ride and I hope to help brighten your day with some ag humor, FFA fun, and farm life craziness; and maybe help you even come up with a good recipe for supper as you move through my lessons and follow me on social media!
