TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My name is Mrs. Williams. I have been teaching math for the past 17 years from grades 6 - 10. While teaching, I have also had the pleasure of serving as a Math Team Leader, Grade Team Leader, and a Peer Instructional Coach. I have used all of the resources in my store to prepare my students to take the 6-8th grade Common Core math exams as well as the Algebra 1 Regents exam. Currently, I am teaching 6th-grade math and I love it!!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach math using engaging hands-on activities in all of my lessons including:
error analysis activities
task cards
doodle notes
fun puzzles
problem solving graphic organizers

I also love integrating technology into my lessons whenever possible. I am currently using Google Slides, Powerpoint Lessons and TpT Easel Activities. All of these digital resources allow my students to stay engaged. My number one priority when teaching math is to make it meaningful to my students lives.
