TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm passionate about helping ALL students succeed! I taught special education in a multi-needs classroom, where my students had a range of low incidence abilities functioning anywhere between a PreK to 3rd grade level. I love teaching and creating materials - and then being able to share my ideas and help teachers like you! Read more about my classroom on my blog - Breezy Special Ed Blog and on my facebook page.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Every student can succeed, just in different ways. So I keep trying new things until I find what works for that student!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

It's all in the little things. When I see something we've been working on for so long finally "click" with a student, when a behavior plan starts to show improvements with a student, when my students say hello unprompted! :)

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Graduated from Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights with a Special Education and Elementary Education BA degree.
