TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Amanda was in the classroom for several years as she taught both kindergarten and first grade. With a heart for the inner city, she has experience teaching both mainstream and two-way dual language. All of her teaching experience is with ELL students. She is passionate about all things literacy. Amanda provides professional development on literacy, reading small groups, and integrating science. She creates engaging teaching resources and provides helpful teaching tips on her blog, Mrs. Richardson's Class.

Amanda's number one goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for her students. She enjoys creating activities that challenge her students and also help scaffold them as needed.
