MY TEACHING STYLE

I am very structured, academically and behaviorally, and I get a high level of engagement from my students. I teach with guided practice at the beginning of a lesson and unit, and transition to students taking responsibility for their learning as the lesson and unit progresses. My students sometimes work individually with the option of discussing the assignment with students nearby, and sometimes work in teams of about four students.

Everything in my store has been tested in my classroom and passes my high expectations based on alignment to the grade-level standards, engagement of my students, effectiveness in my students reaching our learning goal, and efficiency.
