Description
Pixel Art challenges are so much fun!
I leave them as homework, or I have kids compete in teams in breakout rooms to see which team can solve the puzzle first.
This one is for the passé composé w/ avoir OR être in French.
* I tell students to assume masculine/singular with pronouns such as vous or masculine/plural for nous unless otherwise specified.
Students will practice selecting être or avoir.
Students will use some high frequency irregular past participle such as: faire -> fait
Students will practice agreement of the past participle with être.
Have your students practice DR MRS VANDERTRAMP in context.
devenir, revenir, mourir, rentrer, sortir, venir, arriver, naître, descendre, entrer, rester, tomber, aller, monter, partir
You must delete column B before giving this to your students. They will then fill out each answer. (The cues/questions are in column A) Only when their answer is correct the row highlights a color, then a little piece to the mystery image appears bit by bit.
What a fun way to practice! How great is it that kids get instant feedback!
This pixel art challenge will reveal a Gary the Snail like creature (from Spongebob)!
You will also like my passé composé & my imparfait powerpoints.
