iPad activities using the free iPad app Chatterpix.
Easily integrate these low prep iPad® mobile digital device video projects into your reading and math centers or whole group lessons. Packet includes student activity pages for 3 CCSS aligned ELA video projects focusing on character traits, finding the moral of a story, and recognizing dialogue. There is also a CCSS aligned Math video project focusing on shape attributes with 9 coloring pages. For this activity, students could each do a shape or each student could do all nine over a two week period.
Packet includes everything your students need to use the app independently:
★ 4 total project planning sheets with checklist directions.
★ 1 reference sheets - a one page basic outline of controls to display at the center or project for the whole class to use.
★ 2 pages of step-by-step visual directions that can used for any project - included those you create yourself!
★ 1 rubric for assessing any project.
★ 9 shape coloring pages for making a shape "talk"
★ 1 Quiet Please sign to display when students are recording video. Leave in the center so other students know not to interrupt!
You will need the free app Chatterpix Kids. This listing is for the 2nd grade Common Core Aligned packet.
