    You'd Be Home Now Literature Pack includes the following items:


    Book Talk Pack:

    Everything you need to confidently introduce this book to your students (even if you have not read the book yourself.) The pack includes a book talk "script" that you are welcome to read verbatim to your students or on your school's social media or learning platform like Canvas or Blackboard as a "Book Talk Tuesday" or similar promotion.

    In addition to a book talk, you can further hook your readers with the accompanying anticipatory activity. Students are given scenario cards that feature problems the main characters face in the book. Students choose their solutions and discuss their reasoning.

    You will also receive an honest book review that includes important scenes and themes from the book as well as identifies areas for consideration, including language and mature themes.


    Chapter Mini-Quiz Packet:

    This mini quiz packet offers a comprehensive set of quick comprehension assessments to use while reading Kathleen Glasgow's, "You'd Be Home Now."  Each mini-quiz provides a 5 question review over its chapters to help students better engage in the novel and reinforce/assess comprehension.
