How It Works:

✩ After introducing sight words, they can be reinforced through repeated practice reading them in pattern-type sentences that incorporate the word family words.

✩ Each sentence that is read correctly can be checked off, improving students’ confidence in their reading ability.

✩ After reading the sentences, students can compose their own sentences using the words listed on the following page and/or add their own vocabulary. A sample sentence is provided that can be traced first.

This product can be used:

✩ as a teaching tool

✩ for independent seatwork

✩ in a center, once the students learn the sight words for each page

✩ for assessment and evaluation purposes.
