Description
This is a small rubric (one fourth of a page - 4 on the page) that gives the basic outline of the Scoring Rubric for Kentucky On-Demand Writing for fifth-grade. It is an excel document with the four main components (Audience/Purpose, Idea Development, Structure, and Conventions) and brief descriptors of those components. It includes a scoring column that allows for either the 4 point scale or traditional percentage scoring as well as a total average score/grade. There are also a few lines for comments at the bottom or the rubric. This rubric was created to save time and paper while providing a way for routine scoring of practice prompts without extensive and costly labor!
