Description

100 High-Interest Writing Prompts are presented to inspire creative and detailed writing. These are sure to engage even reluctant writers, with writing prompts that address personal, relevant issues for middle school students.

Examples:

★ Reflect on the following quotation: “It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.” –Epicteus

★ How does technology influence your life? What are the positives and what are the negatives? Use examples to support your answer.

★ Tell the story of your name. How did you get your name? Do you like it? Would you change it if you could?

★ Write a short creative narrative based on the following prompt: The Promise. Include dialogue between at least two characters.
