Writing Paragraphs with a Classic Mentor Text (Alexander's Horrible Day)

We use mentor texts in every writing lesson as a way to get kids excited about writing and to show them real examples of what we are asking them to do in writing. For this writing pack we use the picture book Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst.
