What educators are saying

I used this as a supplementary resource for my linear equations unit. It was helpful to have more samples to pull from.

    Description

This bundle includes everything you need to teach students and access them on writing linear equations from a graph. Pages can be used digitally or can be printed and used that way.

    Notes:

Included in this set of digital pages are 3 pages on writing linear equations from a graph to add to your digital Algebra curriculum. The first 2 pages walk students through the steps they must follow to write the equations – step 1 is to find the slope, step 2 is to identify the y-intercept. There are alternate options of these pages that can be found at the end of the document that has space for students to write the steps themselves – rather than having the steps given to them. The final page has students graph 4 coordinate planes with lines drawn. Students write the linear equation for each line. Colored and black and white versions of each page is included (to allow for students who may need the differentiation).

    Included in the notes:

    -2 guided note pages

    -1 practice page

    -Completed suggested answer keys

    Activity Pages:

Included in this set of digital pages are 2 pages on writing linear equations from a graph. The first page has students match 6 graphs with the equation of the line on the graph. They move the arrows to match up the graph with its equation. The 2nd and 3rd pages have students write the equation of lines given on their own. There is a black and white version, and a colored version of each page included to allow for differentiation and/or to make it easier to print out.

    Included in this activity:

    • 3 digital activity pages
    • Completed suggested answer keys

    To use these pages:

Review information with students. There is no “correct” order. These pages are meant to be practice for students. One of the sets of pages is black and white, one copy has color. Choose which page(s) you want students to have. Make a copy of the document. As the pages are different, you could assign a pair of students to complete the pages. Have one student complete one of each type of page, then have them swap and check each others work. Delete any unnecessary pages (like the answer key, and the direction page) before making a copy and sending to students!
