Writing Bulletin Board - Types of Writing Posters - Writing Process - Door Decor

These writing bulletin boards are the perfect addition to your ELA classroom decor. Choose from the writing process posters, types of writing posters, or "writing is thinking on paper" quote to decorate your writing centers, writing corner, or writing wall. Just print all the pieces of the design that you want onto paper, cut, and then attach them to your bulletin board, the classroom door, or your writing wall. All designs come with solid black letters and white-filled letters, making it so you have many different options for printing and decorating.

Design #1: OUR OBJECTIVE

When this bulletin board design is complete, it states, "OUR OBJECTIVE" above a large speech bubble. You can laminate the speech bubble and then write the students' daily writing objective on the speech bubble using dry erase markers. The speech bubble is the perfect place to write an objective because students can read aloud the objective together as a class before each lesson.

Next to the speech bubble, you can display writing posters. I have included types of writing posters for the following terms: opinion writing, persuasive writing, informative writing, narrative writing. Design #2: WRITING PROCESS

This resource includes everything you need to make a bulletin board that displays the writing process.

The steps of the writing process in this set:

1. Prewrite (or plan)*

2. Draft

3. Revise

4. Edit

5. Publish

Writing process posters ARE INCLUDED. There are 8 different designs to choose from. If you want to change the text on the posters, EDITABLE posters are available. (You can edit the text, but you cannot edit the picture or the title.)

Design #3: WRITING IS THINKING ON PAPER

This is a fun bulletin board if you want to display a quote about writing. If you do not like the color scheme that I've used, you can create your own. White-filled banner pieces and letters are included, making it so you can create any color scheme you want.
