Description
Writing and Grammar Assessments are an essential tool for any 2nd grade classroom!
Grading writing can be difficult and time consuming. It is usually a painstaking process for us teachers. This little resource is our simplified, yet effective, solution to an otherwise tedious task.
The writing assessment rubrics in this resource help us teachers streamline the process while focusing on standard acquisition and specific skills. It takes the guesswork out of grading our students’ paragraphs. The rubrics cover the majority of writing and language CCSS standards.
In addition to thorough and easy to use writing rubrics, this resource also includes specific skill driven grammar assessments. These assessments cover the remaining language CCSS standards.
Together, these components assist teachers in monitoring and documenting our students’ grade level Writing and Language CCSS mastery.
Specific grade level standards are incorporated on everything to allow for easy tracking of specific skills. Not only does this help analyze student learning, it also helps ensure standards focused lessons are given to achieve mastery.
